For a week every other year, our wonderful neighbouring town of Farnborough finds itself at the very centre of global attention as it hosts the Farnborough International Airshow.
Visitors from 44 countries gather to network with more than 1,000 exhibiting companies and share knowledge and information about the latest developments in aviation technology and software; multi-billion-dollar deals are negotiated as senior executives from all the major airlines descend on Surrey.
The 2026 event starts on July 20th, and while this is very much a trade show, the gates are opened to the public for one day only…and what a day it is!
July 24th is the date for your diary; a full list of events and displays can be found here, and You can book your tickets here. There are no registrations on the day so you must book.
But will there be any aeroplanes to see for free?
Oh my goodness, yes, the skies above Farnborough, Farnham, Woking and of course, Guildford will be abuzz with planes of all shapes and sizes; in fact, the entire area around Farnborough International Airport becomes a plane-spotters’ paradise.
From Monday 20th of July, the planes that you can expect to see include the USAF F-35A Lightning, Vickers Submarine Spitfire, the frankly gigantic Airbus A-350, and on Monday and Friday there will be a flypast by the Czech Air Force L-159.
Mandolay Hotel welcomes visitors and guests from all over the world to Farnborough International Airshow. We hope that you have a wonderful stay…
Enjoy the Show!
