It’s a question that we are asked quite often, and our response is always the same.
No, we do not ‘allow’ dogs; we welcome them because we absolutely adore well-behaved pooches of all shapes and sizes and love to make a fuss of them, with the owner’s permission, of course.
We must say right away that we appreciate the fact that not everyone is a dog lover, so we make sure that not every bedroom and area of the hotel is available for our four-legged chums.
We provide free treats, and we are always happy to point out the very best places for ‘walkies’, including the glorious Stoke Park, a five-minute stroll from the hotel. A little further afield we have the wonderful Surrey Hills with so many dog-friendly attractions and places to enjoy.
So if you fancy a short stroll before breakfast or an afternoon adventure, Guildford and the surrounding area is perfect for dog walking.
