Christmas is just around the corner!
We absolutely love how well our Christmas Party Events are being received, ours is a unique offering in Guildford with Festive Afternoon Teas, Shared Party Nights, Gala Dinners and Private Events booked for November, December and even into January.

In preparation for a hectic month or so, why not treat yourself to a relaxing day of wellbeing fun at G Live on Saturday November 7th.
The Winter Wellfest is packed with classes, hands on demonstrations, talks, live performances and meditation lessons, there’s even a pop-up spa as well as lots of opportunities to pick up a few special gifts for Christmas while you’re there.

We have mentioned them before but we really do love Paper Moon, Guildford’s independent book store. With Christmas on the near horizon, there’s no better time to pay them a visit, their knowledgeable and helpful team are on hand to advise on the best titles for gifts, or as a treat to yourself.
Just a few metres from Paper Moon is Art & Grind, an independent café with a unique twist. You can enjoy great coffee and wonderful pastries while checking out their latest art exhibition, or even try your hand at getting creative yourself.
Every table has pots of crayons and coloured pencils, and there’s a plentiful supply of paper for you to draw to your hearts content.
A special tip of the hat to their School Cake and Pistachio Cruffins, all tried by us and highly recommended.
Guildford is packed with quirky independent shops and places to eat, if you find a favourite spot, please let us know, we will check them out and include them in a future ‘What we Love’ message.
On Saturday 7th of November, Guildford Lions will be hosting their Firework Festival at Stoke Park. There’s brilliant live music, lots of food and drink, and of course a wonderful display of ‘pyro’s’ to entertain the whole family.
We love Guildford Lions for all their hard work organising events like this in aid of local and national charities. You can book tickets here, but be quick they usually sell-out.
