We will kick off with one of the big guns of comedy as Ardal O’Hanlon takes the stage at G Live on Sunday October 5th.

And the big names keep on coming at G Live as Josh Widdicombe brings his brilliant new show ‘Not My Cup of Tea’ to town on the 8th.

If it’s dance that gets you going then check out the line-up for October 15th and ‘Return of the Legends’…Brendan Cole, James Jordan, Vincent Simone, Pasha Kovalev and Ian Waite !

Back to comedy on the 19th and it’s the turn of the remarkably funny Henning Wehn to tickle our collective funny bones with his show ‘Acid When’.

For cricket fans Lord Ian Botham and Sir Alastair Cook tell tales from the Ashes and beyond on the 21st. The pair will be interviewed by Derbyshire and England player Geoff Miller, and we just hope that they are prepared to have the show stolen by this brilliant raconteur!

And as if that stellar lineup of talent isn’t enough to get you racing to Guildford, how about Grayson Perry on the 23rd Milton Jones on the 24th and Paul Merton and Suki Webster on the 25th

Phew !

Over to our great friends at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre with another packed month of brilliance, starting with Swan Lake on the 6th and Sleeping Beauty on the 7th, both by the Imperial Classical Ballet and a full live orchestra.

The inimitable Stewart Lee takes the stage from the 9th to the 11th before it’s 100% National Treasure, Pam Ayres on the 15th and the wonderful Ria Lina on the 18th.

From the 21st to the 25th of October Belinda Lang and a star-studded cast bring the classic novel Little Women to life…it’s a must-see production, and it will sell-out.

The month at the Yvonne Arnaud finishes on an appropriately spooky note, with 2:22 A Ghost Story, starring Stacey Dooley, Kevin Clifton, Shvorne Marks and Grant Kilburn…the show runs from the 27th of October to November 1st, what a way to celebrate Hallowe’en !

Guildford is full of stars this October, which ones will you glimpse.
