For far too long, organising the office Christmas Party has been seen as a bit of a chore, something to avoid at all costs, a job to delegate…but here at Mandolay, we so no to all of that, and instead we celebrate the Workplace Hero!
We know that organisers shoulder all the responsibility and that their colleagues are looking at them if the sprouts are overcooked, the Prosecco a little flat, the crackers don’t crack, or the music isn’t ‘Christmassy’ enough, or too ‘Christmassy’.
As a venue, we understand that for this very special event, your reputation is in our hands.
Luckily for you, we bring our many years of party hosting experience to every table, the food is always spot on, served piping hot, with plenty of gravy and trimmings. The music is just the right balance of classics, Christmas favourites, disco hits, and cheesy pop, the wine flows freely and there is plenty of bar staff to make sure nobody is left waiting for the finest selection of beers, spirits, and soft drinks.
Our shared events offer the opportunity to bring your party to our party, our beautifully decorated function suites are filled with hats, crackers, baubles, candy canes, and all the razzamatazz that we can pack in…over the top? Of course we are, it’s Christmas.
We want your colleagues to be asking ‘who organised this party?’ and not ‘WHO ORGANISED THIS PARTY!’ We can’t promise that you will be carried out shoulder high, or that you’ll get that promotion, but we can guarantee that a great time will be had by all, and the only groans will arrive courtesy of rotten cracker jokes.
It’s September already, and before we know it the clocks will be going back. So it’s time to get cracking, and here’s a suggestion, instead of waiting to be picked on, why don’t you volunteer to be the Workplace Hero this year.
