We are of course always delighted to answer any questions about our services, the hotel and its surroundings and the beautiful town of Guildford. However, in order to make things simpler for you we have listed a few brief answers to questions that we are either asked frequently or are of a technical nature. WHAT ARE THE CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES?
Our check-in time is usually 3.00pm and check-out 11.00am.
Special arrangements may be made via reception and we are delighted to offer an early check-in/late check-out service at a small supplementary cost where available.
Please contact reception ahead of your stay or ask on arrival; we try our very best to accommodate all reasonable requests whenever possible.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?
Bookings must be cancelled by calling or informing reservations.
Standard bookings cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival will attract a full refund whereas later cancellations or no-shows will be charged at the full room rate.
Promotional, seasonal, all inclusive and advance rates are non-refundable and non-transferable. For cancellation policies on corporate bookings please refer to individual contracted terms and conditions.
For bookings made via third party websites please check individual company policies – we are bound by these agreements and cannot influence their policy.
IS ROOM SERVICE AVAILABLE?
As a modern Four Star hotel, The Mandolay is delighted to provide a 24 Hour room-service facility for guests.
Restaurant Menu room service is available between 12 noon and 9.00pm daily and outside these times we are pleased to offer a selection of lighter meals, drinks and snacks.
Please see the full menu in your bedroom and as always, kindly alert reception at the time of booking of any special dietary requirement or food allergies.
ARE PETS WELCOME AT THE MANDOLAY?
We love our dogs at Mandolay, and we are delighted to introduce a number of ‘dog-friendly’ options for our guests, and their pets.
For the comfort of all of our guests, dogs are only allowed in certain bedrooms and parts of the hotel.
All ‘Doggie Bookings’ must be confirmed directly with the hotel to ensure the availability of appropriate room types.
DOES THE MANDOLAY HAVE AN ACCESS POLICY FOR DISABLED GUESTS?
We do indeed and our full policy can be requested from reception.
Public areas are wheelchair accessible and we have bedrooms equipped for disabled users. We would ask that guests with a specific access requirement alert us ahead of their stay so that we may accommodate them as comfortably as possible.

DOES THE MANDOLAY HAVE INTERNET ACCESS?
We are pleased to offer unrestricted high speed internet access in all bedrooms and public areas; this service is provided free of charge to our guests and patrons.
ARE MEETING FACILITIES AVAILABLE AT THE MANDOLAY?
The Mandolay is equipped to welcome meetings of up to 500 delegates. Smaller meetings may be held in any one of our numerous private rooms and guests are welcome to use any of the public areas for less formal meetings.
